Tomintoul Distillery is located within the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.
The Distillery is named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland.
The Distillery was established in 1965 and uses traditional techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to make our award-winning single malt, “the gentle dram”.

About The Tour
Enjoy a guided behind the scenes tour of Tomintoul Distillery, located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and see how our dedicated team use traditional distilling techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to handcraft our award-winning single malt scotch whisky.
Tours run twice daily every Tuesday and Thursday with start times at 10:00 and again at 13:00. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
The tour will be followed by a tasting of three Tomintoul single malts.
Cost of the tour is £20 per person which will be taken by our reception team on arrival.

There are 8 spaces available on each tour and you each participant must be aged 15 years or older.

Location
Tomintoul Distillery is within the gateway to the Cairngorm National Park. It's located just over an hour’s drive from Inverness and a little under two hours from Aberdeen.
